Cullen Jenkins Is Staying Away From 'The Twitter'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If only Riley Cooper and Jason Babin followed the course of action regarding Twitter that Cullen Jenkins has.
"I've been trying to stay away from the Twitter too much, because there are a lot of hostile people out there and they're giving it to us pretty heavy right now, which we do deserve it. I'll put it out there that we do deserve it," Jenkins told 94WIP's Michael Barkann and Ike Reese on Wednesday. The Eagles are losers of seven straight games, and now sit at 3-8. They'll play the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday night.
The bad play has left the fanbase very unhappy, and Twitter gives them a direct line to let the players know just how unhappy.
"I try to talk to a lot of younger guys. I talked to Brandon [Graham] about his situation the other day, because you see the stuff and it obviously frustrates you. I hear stuff. People talk about my lack of production, or lack of impact this year, and you know, stuff gets to you. It gets you frustrated, but the biggest thing I want to do is get out there in the game and put on a good performance to fire back at them, instead of trying to do it through Twitter," Jenkins said.
No matter how bad it gets for the Eagles, they'll still have to play the final five games on the schedule.
"I think the mindset we have to have is just to go dominate [Dallas]. Here lately, we've just been hoping to get a win and get this thing stopped and try to get it turned around. I think we just need to have some fun and just go out there expecting to dominate them, and not just hoping to get a win," Jenkins said.
