Crews Work To Repair Water Main Break Near Nazareth Hospital
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Crews are working to repair a water main break in Northeast Philadelphia.
The incident occurred along the 2700 block of Holme Avenue near Nazareth Hospital just after 5 p.m.
Officials say the main is 12 inches. They say the westbound lanes of Holme Street have been closed at Revere Street.
According to Nazareth Hospital, they have experienced reduced water pressure, but it is not affecting patient care.
Hospital officials say they are concerned with traffic backup preventing people from accessing the hospital, but they have not had any issues yet.
Water department crews and police are on scene.
