Crews Respond To HAZMAT Situation In New Castle County
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Chopper 3 over the scene as crews responded to reports of a chemical odor in Delaware.
The call came in around 3:05 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the 1400 block of Delaware Avenue in Wilmington.
So far, there have not been any evacuations in the area.
Crews figured out that the odor was coming from an old refrigerant system that was leaking in the basement of a building.
The situation was quickly brought under control.
No injuries were reported.
