Country Singer Kenny Chesney To Give Free Concert In Wildwood
WILDWOOD, NJ (CBS) – Country superstar Kenny Chesney is coming to the Jersey shore.
Chesney was reportedly looking to perform on a boardwalk and had considered Seaside Heights, but he decided on Wildwood after visiting the beach there.
The June 20th concert is free and will take place from 8:27 – 10:15 p.m. on the beach at Schellenger Avenue. According to promoters, Chesney will perform on a huge, former Pinky Floyd stage.
Though there's no charge, fans have to get a ticket to attend the event. Right now, they're available to American Express Card holders and Kenny Chesney Fan Club members until 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 10th at www.ticketmaster.com. The first 15,000 tickets will be distributed to American Express customers, who will be able to watch the show from a fenced in area close to the stage.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday, June 11th at 11 a.m.
