Coronavirus Response: Walmart Begins Limiting Number Of Customers Inside Stores To Promote Social Distancing
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Starting Saturday, Walmart will be limiting the number of shoppers allowed in its stores in an effort to promote social distancing. Stores will allow no more than five customers for every 1,000 square feet at a given time.
Walmart says while most of its stores have two entrances, stores will use only one.
Customers will be admitted inside one-by-one and counted.
