Coronavirus Response: United Airlines Requiring Flight Attendants To Wear Masks While On The Clock
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- United Airlines is now requiring all flight attendants to wear masks and face coverings while they are on duty. United is carrying 20 masks on board each flight.
Attendants are allowed to wear their own.
United is the first major United States carrier to adopt the requirement.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is recommending that people wear masks when social distancing is not possible.
