Corbett, Wolf Square Off In 'Breakfast With The Candidates' Debate

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Live this morning, from the CBS Broadcast Center -- Breakfast With the Candidates. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett and Democratic challenger Tom Wolf will face one hour of questions in the only Philadelphia debate.
For pure political drama, nothing beats a debate, but what about a debate with a captive audience of hundreds of thousands of people on their way to work from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. Breakfast With the Candidates comes to you from 8 to 9 a.m. this morning from the CBS Broadcast Center.
KYW Newsradio made it happen and for those of you who want to watch, it will be simulcast on CW 57. Right now, our building is inundated with media from all over the state and the country. Tom Wolf and Tom Corbett are prepping in separate meeting rooms.
KYW's Cherri Gregg and CBS 3's Chris May will ask the questions. Larry Kane will moderate the debate. Education should be a major topic along with how to pay for it. Taxes and gas drilling will also be among the topics of discussion.
If the last debate is any indication, Governor Corbett will go on the defensive looking to make up ground in the polls.
The audience is huge. In Philadelphia on KYW Newsradio and CW 57, and in Pittsburgh on our sister station, KDKA.
