Cops: Victim May Lose Eye After Brutal Beating In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are searching for two suspects who brutally beat and robbed a man while he was ordering food at a restaurant Saturday.
According to police, the first suspect entered New Nam Chang Restaurant, located at 2136 West Oxford Avenue in the Sharswood section of the city, and punched the 26-year-old victim in the right side of his head while wearing what appeared to be brass knuckles.
After the victim fell to the floor, authorities say the first suspect continued to punch him and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

Allegedly, while the first suspect was beating on the victim, the second suspect opened the door to the restaurant to check on the first suspect.
Both suspects then left the store, but police say, the first suspect returned to kick the victim several more times. Officials say the suspect then fled the scene, crossed 22nd Street and entered a four-door white of silver vehicle.
Police say the victim suffered serious injuries including a broken nose, orbital socket, nasal passage and lacerations. Police say the victim may lose his right eye.
The first suspect has been described as an 18 to 25-year-old black male with a short beard, wearing a blue Nike hooded jacket with a small emblem and blue jeans.
The second suspect has been described as a 25 to 30-year-old black male with a stocky build and short afro, wearing a black puffy jacket with a white hood, jeans and black sneakers with white bottoms.
