Cops: Mom Of Man Charged In Death Of Missing Mt. Laurel Woman Also Facing Charges

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (CBS) -- There is yet another wrinkle in the investigation in the murder of a Mount Laurel woman, whose remains have not yet been found.
The prime suspect's mother also faces charges.
Burlington County Prosecutor Robert Bernardi says investigators believe that Jo Crosby of Sicklerville played a role in helping her son, Kyle, conceal the murder of his wife, Erica Crippen.
The 28-year old Kyle Crosby has been held in the Burlington County jail since he was charged in mid-January with murdering his 26-year old wife. The two were married last year. They had an infant together and Erica had a seven-year-old daughter from a prior relationship.
Authorities are still searching for her body, and they are not disclosing how they have confirmed that she was killed.
"I just want to find my sister," Janiya Crippen told Eyewitness News.
"I want my family to rest so I can bury my sister, and this can be over. I'm tired of it," Crippen said.
In a statement, Prosecutor Bernardi would say only that Crosby's 67-year old mother assisted his efforts to conceal the body of his wife after he took her life.
He says due to the ongoing investigation, the specific acts that led to charges against Jo Crosby will not be discussed at this time.
