Cops: Deadly Crash In Kensington May Be Linked To Earlier Assault
By Jenn Bernstein
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police have not yet identified the man killed in a one-car crash in Kensington early Tuesday morning.
It happened at the intersection of Boudinot and Westmoreland Streets.
A Nissan Altima crashed into a wall at the intersection.
One man inside the car was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m.
Police are also looking into whether the car may be connected to an alleged assault that occurred a short time before the crash, not far from the scene.
The Special Victims Unit is looking into that incident.
