Cops: Argument Over Female Ends In Feltonville Bar Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say an argument over a female ended with the shooting of a man inside a Philadelphia bar early Thursday morning.
The incident happened at about 2 a.m. inside the Black Pumpkin Bar on Whitaker Avenue at Wyoming Avenue in Feltonville.
According to investigators, two men became embroiled in an argument over a woman and one of the men was thrown out of the bar.
Authorities say the man returned a short time later and fired a gun several times at the other individual.
The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in guarded condition with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
According to investigators, the suspect was struck in the head with a pool cue before running out of the bar.
Police are currently checking area hospitals for the suspect. As of right now, he remains at large.
The incident remains under police investigation.
