Consumer Report: Finding That Lost Yearbook

by CBS3's Jim Donovan for KYW Newsradio 1060 --

When Ron Bogdan graduated from Willingboro High School in 1976, his yearbook was something to treasure.

"The yearbook is the original trash-or-treasure item.  Because to someone who comes from that time, that school, it really is the value of a gold brick.  And to anyone else, it's a piece of junk."

When Ron's yearbook was destroyed in a flooded basement, he went looking for a replacement:

"What ended up happening was, I wasn't finding my book but I was finding a lot of orphan books from all over the place."

So he started collecting them, and now has more than two thousand!  And he sells them to those looking for replacements on his web site, getmyyearbook.com.

Bogdan charges a one-time search fee of $7.95, and when found, $64.95 to buy the yearbook.
