Construction Worker Hospitalized After Falling Down Elevator Shaft In University City
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 34-year-old construction worker is hospitalized after falling three stories down an elevator shaft Wednesday afternoon.
It happened around 12 p.m. at the 3700 block of Market Street inside the Penn Medicine and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
The building is currently under construction.
The man was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. There is no word on his condition at this time.
