Construction Will Force Partial Closure Of Pennsylvania Turnpike Sunday
HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) - Once again, a stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike will be shut down for several hours early Sunday morning for construction.
A seven mile stretch will be closed in both directions from 12:01 am to 5am Sunday between Bensalem (Exit #351) and Delaware Valley (Exit #358).
This time, the closure will be required to allow for the placement of concrete beams on the bridge that carries Bristol – Oxford Valley Road over the turnpike in Bristol Township, Bucks County. Sunday morning at 5 a.m. one lane will reopen to traffic in both directions.
Traffic will be fully restored eastbound by 8 a.m. and westbound by 10 a.m. Sunday.
