Connecticut Police Seek Murder Suspect In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police in Connecticut are asking for the people of Philadelphia to help them identify a suspect who is wanted for murder.
According to Philadelphia Police, on Monday December 5, the male (pictured left) was seen on Jewelers Row.
The man is wanted in connection with the December 8th murder of jewelry store owner in Westport, Connecticut.
The suspect, who police say was in Philadelphia just three days before the attack, was captured on surveillance video visiting two stores on Jewelers Row.
"I would characterize him as someone who knew exactly what he was doing," said Connecticut Police Sgt. Jim Kline. "He was very calculating and is extremely dangerous."
He is believed to be driving a blue or grey colored 'boxy-car' like a Nissan Cube or Scion.
Anyone with information about this individual is asked to contact Westport, Connecticut Police Department at 203-341-6090 or the Philadelphia Police by dialing 9-1-1.
