Commuters In Philadelphia Support Proposed "No Budget, No Pay" Bill

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Congress hasn't passed a budget since 2009, and frustration over the partisan deadlock has some lawmakers pushing a bill that would block their pay if they continue to miss deadlines.
This "no budget, no pay" bill certainly has its supporters here in Philadelphia, as people in Center City say there would be consequences if they did nothing but bicker with co-workers all day.
"Probably wouldn't get paid or get fired, one way or the other."
"Well, you know the answer to that, you'd be out of a job so, I agree, they shouldn't be paid until it's done."
The bill remains a long shot, but even just getting an official hearing is a big step. Bill supporters say it's necessary, because, they say, partisan pettiness is hurting the country and the recovery.
