Rebecca Bunch (Rachel Bloom) is a successful, driven young woman with a partnership in a prestigous law firm and an upscale Manhattan apartment. Unlucky in love, she impulsively gives up everything and moves cross-country with one goal in mind: to reconnect with her ex-boyfriend. With her inner monologue providing irreverent musical interludes, she settles in suburban California just two hours from the beach ("Four in traffic.") The original comedy series will kick off Monday nights this fall, leading into last season's critically-acclaimed "Jane the Virgin."
