Suspect Arraigned In Alleged Road Rage Stabbing In Collingdale
COLLINGDALE, Pa. (CBS) – Police responded to reports of a road rage incident that allegedly escalated into a stabbing Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to the area of 327 MacDade Boulevard around 3:17 p.m. Upon arrival, police found a victim bleeding from the left forearm.
Witness say they saw a black male fleeing the scene in a silver vehicle towards Darby Borough and possibly turning left onto Staley Avenue, which is a dead end.
Officer Daniel Faulkenstein from Darby Police first spotted the suspect's vehicle parked on Staley Avenue and still running.
He then saw a male and female walking away from the vehicle and arriving officers quickly detained them. The vehicle located was a silver Lexus registered to the male identified as Stanley Williams.
The Lexus was impounded due to evidence, including blood on the passenger side rear door, the front right tire and a smashed windshield.
Stanley Williams was then positively ID'd by witnesses as the suspect who had stabbed the victim.
Police say the stabbing victim was transported to Delaware County Hospital and appeared to be in stable condition.
Williams was arraigned Wednesday morning and is being held on $200,000 bail at 10 percent and is required home monitor.
