College Football: Temple's Jarrett Readies for Senior Bowl
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Temple University senior safety Jaiquawn Jarrett had a fine career patrolling the defensive backfield for the Owls, and now he is looking forward to showing NFL scouts what he can do in the Senior Bowl on January 29th, down in Mobile, Ala.
Jarrett was one of the players who helped turn the Temple program around under Al Golden, and he's proud to be associated with what transpired on North Broad Street.
"It was a lot of fun to be a part of a program that turned around," Jarrett recalls. " It was such a tremendous turnaround. I was there when we won one game. Every year we just slowly progressed and the program has risen a lot."

Jarrett will be just the 7th Temple player to take part in the Senior Bowl since 1972 and the first since RB Stacey Mack back in 1998.
He talks about the aspects of his football skill set he's focusing on these days:
"I want to improve on my cover skills. Just making sure that I'm able to cover in space and showing up in run support, the run game."
Jarrett finished his Temple career 9th in school history in interceptions with 9 and 11th in tackles with 299. The NFL Draft begins on April 28th.
