Football: Penn and Yale Set for Saturday Showdown
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Two of the three team undefeated in Ivy League play will battle on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Field, as the Penn Quakers host Yale.
The Quakers last weekend improved to 2-0 in Ancient 8 action (3-2 overall) as they squeaked out a 27-20 win in New York City over Columbia. In that game, Penn quarterback Billy Ragone ran in for the game-winning touchdown with just 25 seconds remaining.
It was the second time this season that Ragone has engineered a last-second, game-winning touchdown drive (the first was against Dartmouth on October 1st, Penn winning 22-20), and Quakers head coach Al Bagnoli says his team has indeed proven to be outstanding in clutch situations.
"We've had six two-minute drives this season and we've converted touchdowns on all six -- and that's very difficult to do," Bagnoli tells KYW Newsradio. "Your margin of error is not very great, you are always playing against the clock, you are always playing against unconventional types of defense."

Yale is coming off a 28-19 loss to Lafayette in non-league action. They have wins over Dartmouth and Cornell to their credit in the Ancient 8.
Bagnoli breaks down the Bulldogs:
"They have a terrific quarterback in (senior) Patrick Witt, who was a transfer scholarship kid from Nebraska. He can make all the throws. They've got really good wide receivers and skill kids. On defense, they've got tremendous size and strength up front. They've got active linebackers and they do a nice job in the secondary of keeping everything in front of them."
The quarterback, Witt, has completed nearly 60 percent of his passes this season for the Bulldogs, for 1,119 yards and nine touchdowns with six interceptions.
Penn and Yale will kick off at Franklin Field at 12 noon on Saturday.
The other undefeated team in Ivy League play so far this season is Harvard, which will host Princeton on Saturday.
