College Basketball: Temple Hoping to Bounce Back vs. Charlotte
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Temple University now sits at 13-5 on the season after Saturday's loss at Xavier. The Owls hope to bounce back on Wednesday, when they host Charlotte.
Temple head coach Fran Dunphy talks about what he took out of the loss to the Musketeers.
"I was pleased with some of the things; our transition defense was not one of them we were necessarily pleased with. We got beat in transition a couple of times. We take great pride in that, and this was the one game this year we kind of let that guard down," he told KYW Newsradio this morning.

Dunphy will look for better transition defense against the 49ers on Wednesday but says they will be tough matchup.
"It's a real solid basketball team," he says, "(with) a first-year coach in Alan Major who is doing a terrific job with them. We'll have our hands full as we will for the last 12 games we play in the regular season, until we can hopefully get to the Atlantic 10 tournament."
Charlotte is 9-10 coming in; they beat the Owls last season down in North Carolina, 74-64.
