College Basketball: La Salle Hosts Duquesne in A-10 Play
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The La Salle Explorers will be looking for their first win in Atlantic-10 action this season as they host Duquesne University tonight.
The Dukes are 11-5 on the season and 3-0 in the Atlantic-10, and Explorers' head coach Dr. John Giannini says the four-guard line-up they utilize is a big reason why.
"They pressure so hard (for) 94 feet, and what happens is you end up running your offense 30, 40 feet from the basket," Giannini told KYW Newsradio this morning. "You just can't get the ball into your big guys, because the pressure and cutting off passing lanes is such that there is no easy way to get it in there. Then when you do get it in there, they double-team you."

Giannini says Duquesne is no picnic when they have the ball, either.
"Defending them is going to be a great challenge for us," he said. "You have to slow them down. You have to get back on defense. Maybe you have to focus a little less on offensive rebounding just to make sure you have people back, because they do want to run and play fast and put a lot of points up."
La Salle is 8-10 overall, 0-3 in the conference. Last time out, on Saturday, they lost at Massachusetts, 74-71.
