College Basketball: Drexel Upends #20 Louisville
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Drexel University men's basketball team picked up its biggest win in recent memory last night, stunning #20 Louisville down in Kentucky, 52-46.
The Dragons improve to 7-1 on the season, and give Louisville its first loss in nine games this season. It was also Louisville's first loss in their new arena.
Bruiser Flint's squad dominated the glass in this one -- they outrebounded the host Cardinals 46-26, with Samme Givens and Daryl McCoy each pulling down ten caroms.
Gerald Colds (number 11 in photo) keyed the Dragons' offensive attack with a game-high 20 points.
The Dragons also won despite going just 12 of 25 from the free-throw line, but Louisville wasn't able to take advantage because they also went just 12-25 from the charity stripe.
Drexel will be on the road on Saturday to visit St. Francis of Pennsylvania. Game time is 1 PM.
