Clinton Supporters Pleased With Her Debate Performance
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Clinton supporters gathered at Tabu night club in Center City for what turned into a festive watch party. They were pleased with their candidate's performance.
There were lots of cheers of approval for Hillary Clinton's zinger lines.
"Well, Donald I know you live in your own reality."
And derisive giggles at Trump's missteps.
"We've learned that "bigly" is a word."
The crowd felt that Clinton had distinguished herself and that Trump had performed poorly.
"Donald Trump has been unable to control himself."
"I'm impressed with her composure and how she's staying on message in the face of chaos."
They didn't think it would necessarily change the mind of Trump supporters.
"But maybe independents or people who are concerned about Hillary will have their minds changed because she came out a statesman, or stateswoman, who will represent us in a powerful manner."
