Cliff Lee Has to Win Eventually ... Right?

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies will wrap up their seven game roadtrip tonight as they play the rubber game of this three-game series in New York against the Mets.
Charlie Manuel's squad has already clinched a winning record (4-2) on the trip even with last night's 6-3 loss.
Cliff Lee will get the start tonight for the Phillies and, as I'm sure you know by now, Lee is still looking for his first win here in 2012. The veteran lefthander is 0-2 with a 2.82 ERA in seven starts this season. Last time he out he battled for seven innings in St. Louis., allowing three runs on eight hits, but had to settle for a no-decision in a game the Phillies eventually won 5-3 in 10 innings.
In his career against the Mets, Lee is 2-1 with a 1.85 ERA. But New York has hit him this year. In two starts against the Mets in 2012, Lee is 0-1 and his earned run average sits at 4.15.
New York counters on the bump tonight with righthander Dillon Gee. He is 4-3 with a 4.92 ERA in nine starts this season. Gee is 2-1 against the Phillies in his career, but they knocked him around to the tune of a 7.50 ERA.
