By Mike DeNardo
HADDON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (CBS) -- Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who bit a clerk during a robbery of an adult book store in south Jersey.
The incident happened at about 3 a.m. Thursday at Edward's News Agency on Route 130 in Haddon Township.
Surveillance video captured a small red car -- possibly a Toyota -- pull up, and a tattooed man in his late 30s or early 40s got out of the passenger side.
Haddon Township Police Chief Mark Cavallo says the man asks the clerk for change for a $50.
"Looks like he purchased a couple of bottles of water. And then out of the clear blue, he goes absolutely crazy on the clerk. Grabs him, jumps over the counter, bites the clerk twice, grabs some money, runs back outside, gets in the red car and drives away."
The clerk, who was bitten on the arm, wasn't seriously hurt.
The tattooed man got away with $48.
Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to contact Haddon Township Police at 856-854-1176 ext. 4135, or JJohnston@Haddontwppolice.com.
