Citizens Bank Park Unveils New Ballpark Food Options
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- With a new Phillies season almost upon us, it is time to get a look at what new food offerings will be available at Citizens Bank Park this upcoming season.
The "What's New at Citizens Bank Park Preview Party," was held on Tuesday night at Citizens Bank Park. The event was hosted by Phillies radio broadcasters Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen. Among the special guests in attendance were Valerie Knight and Frank Lewis of 98.1 WOGL.
The party unveiled all kind of new enhancements to the park, but the food options were clearly a highlight. Citizens Bank Park and Aramark are known for their interesting food offerings and they showed off some of their newest additions.
The Phillies unveiled the brisket stack. The collection of slow braised brisket with crispy pancetta and a fried egg is new at Harry the K's. Also, back by popular demand is the South Philly Dog at Phillies Frank Topped Dogs.
Citizens Bank Park is also adding Wayback Burgers this season. Wayback Burgers will be offering the massive "Wayback Triple Triple." One of the burgers is a whopping 1,980 calories!
The Phillies also announced the addition of Phillies Wine located behind section 142. Pennsylvania's Chaddsford Winery has produced the wine made for Phillies faithful.
The Phillies wine is a part of the MLB Wine Collection and is available at local retailers in the tri-state area.
