Circus Performer Falls Into Crowd During Philadelphia Show
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A 19 year old performer for the Universoul circus fell 30 feet from his apparatus and landed in the crowd at the Mann Center Center Saturday night.
Chenglong Wu was transported to Presbyterian Hospital and is in stable condition.
No injuries were reported by anyone in the audience.
According to doctors at the hospital, Wu has suffered a lower back injury, but is expected to make a full recovery. Circus officials are currently investigating the incident and will have no further comment until their investigation is complete.
