CHOP Holds Annual Alex's Lemonade Stand Kick-Off Event
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)-- Children's Hospital of Philadelphia held its annual Alex's Lemonade Stand kickoff event on Friday and they handed out a very special award.
Ellen Tracy was honored with this year's "Pitcher of Hope" award.
She is the senior director of clinical operations, oncology and medical nursing at CHOP.
Tracy and the nursing staff have done a lot in the fight against childhood cancer.
On Friday, CHOP hosted 28 stands throughout their care network.
