During that time, Chipotle workers, led by co-CEO's Steve Ells and Monty Moran will be retrained on several food safety procedures. The meeting was broadcast live to hundreds of off site locations across the country, according to Chipotle.
The company also live tweeted the event and streamed it on Periscope to keep viewers engaged with the process.
Chipotle will be continuing to use sites such as twitter and Periscope to unveil discounts in a bid to win back customers.
With new major discounts and a proposed initiative to help small suppliers, called 'Local Grower', the company is hoping to revamp its image.
According to Chipotle's co-CEO, Monty "We've come together today to make sure Chipotle is not just the most delicious place to eat, but also the safest."
