Chip Kelly Loved Nick Foles' Game In College

By Spike Eskin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Now that Chip Kelly has been cemented as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, the next question is who will be under center next season.

Many believe that Nick Foles, who had the slowest 40-yard dash time of any quarterback in last year's draft,  is a bad fit for the offensive system that Chip Kelly ran at Oregon, and it might even be possible that the hiring of Kelly could mean the return of Michael Vick.

Based on what Kelly said about Foles when he was at Arizona, maybe he'll have a shot to win the starting job.

"I'll tell you what; I'm glad Nick Foles is graduating,"  Chip Kelly said in September 2011, after his team's 56-31 over Arizona. "I catch myself watching him in awe sometimes. … Nick is a hell of a football player. That kid's a warrior. He's as good as anyone in the country."
