Child Shot During Fight At North Philadelphia House Party
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Gunfire erupted at a North Philadelphia house party early Saturday morning, sending a child to the hospital.
Allegedly, there was a large fight inside the house at 27th and Cecil B. Moore Avenue, which then continued outside the house. Shots were fired, and a seven-year-old boy was hit in the leg.
The child was transported to Temple University Hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
Police are not sure what started the fight, but neighbors referred to the house as "a known party house."
An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
