Child Killed, 3 Injured In Bucks County Crash
DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) – A 10-year-old girl was killed and three others were injured in a crash in Doylestown Wednesday night, according to authorities.
It happened near North Broad Street and the Doylestown Bypass at about 7 p.m.
Authorities say a Ford Mustang traveling northbound on the Doylestown Bypass, driven by a 32-year-old man from Pipersville, Pennsylvania, rear-ended another vehicle.
The 55-year-old female driver in the second vehicle was flown to Temple University Hospital in very serious condition. The child passenger in that vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the driver of the Mustang and his female passenger sustained serious injuries and were taken to Abington Memorial Hospital.
There is no word on what caused the accident. However, Dowylestown Police are investigating whether alcohol was involved.
