Child Injured In Millville Shooting, Police Say
MILLVILLE, N.J. (CBS)—Police in Millville are investigating after a 12-year-old boy was shot on Sunday night.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. near E. Broad Street on Sunday.
Authorities tell CBS 3 the boy was struck while he was outside an apartment in the 600 block of the Oak View Apartments when the gunfire took place. He sustained a single gunshot wound to the calf and was transported to Inspira Vineland in stable condition.
Witnesses told police they heard approximately 5-7 shots which they believed were fired from a vehicle driving through the complex at the time.
