Chesco Teacher's Aide Charged With Sexually Assaulting Teen
BERWYN, Pa. (CBS) - Conestoga High School in Chester County is facing more bad news, just a month after three students were charged with sexually assaulting another teen.
26-year-old Christine Towers, a teacher's aide and softball coach, has been charged with sexually assaulting a 16-year-old boy.
The police report says Towers had been tutoring the victim, one-on-one, during the current school year, but the relationship turned sexual in mid-March.
The report says Towers and the victim had unprotected sex four times during a month long period. When interviewed, the victim said Towers urged him not to tell police about their relationship.
Towers is charged with institutional sexual assault, corruption of the morals of a minor and endangering the welfare of a child.
She is free on ten-percent of her $50,000 bail.
