Cheltenham Police Searching For Missing Teen
ELKINS PARK, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Cheltenham Township are reaching out to the public for help locating a missing juvenile.
Dena Marie Freudenberger, 17, has been missing since June 24th from Elkins Park. Around 1 p.m. on that day, she withdrew $40 from an ATM at Walgreens and then purchased some food and personal hygiene items.
Two hours later, she sent a Facebook instant message to her ex-boyfriend, who police say has been "extremely cooperative."
Freudenberger is described as a white female who is 5'0" tall and 110 lbs with long black hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing light blue jean shorts and a peach or light colored sleeveless t-shirt with a black graphic on the front and black flip flops. Her hair was in a ponytail and she was carrying a tan or beige purse. Dena is known to frequent Lynnewood Gardens, Cheltenham Square Mall and the Melrose Apartments area and may be in the Elkins Park area.
Police say they've also posted the info on their Facebook page and it's been viewed more than 30,000 times. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
