Tomatillo Salsa Sausage

Serves 1
1 Dietz & Watson® Tomatillo Salsa Chicken Sausage
1 quality bun
1 tablespoon Dietz & Watson® Sandwich Spread
2 tablespoons mango relish, recipe follows, or store bought
Black bean salad, to serve
1. Grill the sausage to desired doneness.
2. Put the sandwich spread in the bottom of the bun and top with the sausage.
3. Top with mango salsa and serve.
Mango Relish
Serves 4
1 medium mango, peeled and chopped
½ medium red onion, chopped
¼ cup honey
2 Tablespoons Marukan Rice Vinegar
1 teaspoon chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1. In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients.
2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours, until thoroughly marinated.
3. Serve on top of Tomatillo Salsa Sausages. Store leftovers in a tightly sealed plastic or glass container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
Buffalo Chicken Sausage Wrap

Serves 1
1 Dietz & Watson® Buffalo Chicken Sausage
1 12-inch flour tortilla
2 tablespoons bleu cheese dressing
1 tablespoon Dietz & Watson® Sandwich Spread
Shredded iceberg lettuce
2 slices tomato
1 Dietz & Watson® Kosher Dill Pickle, sliced lengthwise into strips
1. Grill the sausage and slice lengthwise into four strips.
2. Lay the tortilla flat on a work surface and spread with the bleu cheese dressing and sandwich spread.
3. Lay the sausage strips in the center and top with lettuce, tomato and pickle.
4. Fold the sides in and roll up. Slice in half on a bias and serve.
Jerk Chicken Sausage Skewers

Serves 4
4 8-inch to 12-inch skewers (bamboo or metal)
4 Dietz & Watson® Jamaican Jerk Chicken Sausages, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 medium onions, cut into large pieces
2 large bell peppers, cut into large pieces
Vegetable oil
1. Make the Skewers: Make each skewer by placing a piece of sausage, then the onion, then the pepper. Repeat until you have used four pieces of sausage, three pieces of onion and three pieces of pepper. Repeat with the other three skewers.
2. Brush each skewer lightly with vegetable oil and grill.
