Charlie Manuel Says Chase Utley Will Miss Three More Weeks
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Chase Utley, on the 15-day disabled list with a strained oblique muscle, could miss three more weeks, Phillies manager Charlie Manuel told MLB Network Radio.
"He'll be out another three weeks probably," Manuel said. "He has kind of a tear in his ribcage, hurts when you breathe, and if you're not careful, you keep tearing it.
Utley said the mild oblique strain would keep him out at least 15-days, when he was put in the DL on May 24th, but that he would remain cautious.
