By Robin Culverwell
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Prosecutors have charged the driver in Tuesday's crash that claimed the lives of two men in the Mayfair section of the city.
Robert Bregenzer, 33, of Knorr Street in Philadelphia, has been arraigned and bail set at $500,000. He faces a preliminary hearing in two weeks.
Tasha Jamerson, with the Philadelphia district attorney's office, listed the charges against him:
"DUI, homicide by vehicle while DUI, homicide by vehicle, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person."
Police say Bregenzer was heading east on St. Vincent Street in a GMC Yukon when he ran a red light at Bustleton Avenue, broadsiding a Honda and killing the two men inside (see previous story).

The Honda was pushed into traffic and then struck by a Jeep Cherokee. That driver suffered minor injuries.
Police say a variety of drugs and a syringe were found in Bregenzer's possession following the crash.
