Central Pa. College Campus Put On Lockdown After Reported Abduction
HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) – A college campus was put on lockdown after a student was reportedly abducted from a classroom.
CBS 21 is reporting that just before 7 p.m., a man entered a classroom on the Harrisburg campus of HACC with a gun and forcibly removed a female from class.
Officials believed the abductor was still on campus.
HACC had this statement on its website as of 7:55 p.m.:
HACC Harrisburg Campus closed - domestic dispute. Harrisburg PD searching for individuals. Remain in classroom. If not in classroom, exit the campus.
Later, the station reported that the suspect was taken into custody around 8:30 p.m. and that the victim was unharmed.
