Caught On Tape: Passenger Robbed Aboard SEPTA Bus
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for three men who were caught on tape stealing a cell phone from a victim aboard a SEPTA bus.
The robbery happened at about 4:30 p.m. on March 14th near the intersection of 52nd and Market Streets.
According to investigators, the incident began while the victim was waiting for a SEPTA bus. The suspect approached the victim and demanded property from him.
The victim ignored the suspect and eventually boarded the bus.
A few stops later, the suspect, along with two additional males, entered the bus and approached the victim.
The suspects again demanded property from the victim. One of the suspects then stole the victim's cell phone and his TransPass.
The suspects then ran off of the bus in the area of 52nd Street and Haverford Avenue.

The main suspect is described as a black male, 18-21 years-of-age, 200 lbs., 5'10" with short hair and a mustache. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
The second individual, considered a person of interest by police, is described as a black male, 18-21 years-of-age, 160 lbs., 5'10". He was wearing a green shirt with "Dirty Clean" written on it, tan pants and a camouflage hat.
The third individual, also a person of interest, is described as a black male, 18-21 years-of-age, 170 lbs., 5'11" with braided hair. He was wearing a white "T" shirt, blue jeans, a key-chain around neck and a black and blue hat.
