Caught On Camera: 2 Suspects Wanted In Several Robberies Around West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are on the hunt for two suspects wanted in connection with several robberies in West Philadelphia.
Authorities say the first incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. on February 2 inside Elzina Bar on the 5600 block of Master Street.
According to police, a victim said two black males entered the bar and one was armed with a handgun. The suspects demanded everyone get down on the ground and ordered the employee to give them money from the register.
Police say the suspect took an undetermined amount of cash and a wallet and cell phones from two patrons on the floor.
The second robbery occurred just after 1 a.m. on March 7. Police say several customers were inside Jim's Steaks on N. 62nd Street when two men entered the store, armed with handguns, demanding everyone get down on the floor.
Officials say one of them walked to the rear of the store and told everyone to get on the ground, while the other stayed by the front door and ordered the worker to open the register.
After the employee gave the suspects an undetermined amount of money, they fled in an unknown direction.
The third incident occurred the same night inside Vincent's Pizza on the 6400 block of Landsowne Avenue. Police say a male wearing a black ski mask entered the store pointing a handgun at the employees and demanded cash from the register, while a second suspect acted as a lookout outside the store.
Police say they took an undetermined amount of cash and fled the scene.
Authorities say they are looking for two black males, ages 18-25, thin to medium build, wearing dark colored hooded jackets with hooded sweatshirts underneath with the hoods up and masks covering their faces.
