Car Gets Flipped Over In West Chester After A Party

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) - It was a chaotic scene near the West Chester University campus Saturday afternoon when a group of partygoers flipped a vehicle onto its side, breaking the passenger side window.
This happened on the 400 block of South Walnut Street.
In a video posted on social media sites, young adults are seen celebrating near the overturned 2002 silver Pontiac Grand Prix.
"A girl came out and yelled that someone's car got tipped over. I ran outside laughing. Whose car could it be? And it happened to be mine," said a Penn State-Brandywine student who did not want to be identified.
The student left the party when police broke it up, only to hear commotion out front. He saw his flipped car in the street. The car was a gift from his father who passed away from cancer four years ago.
"My friends were helping me pick up all my stuff. They were definitely helping me push people away from the car," the student said.
The car owner holds the people who tipped his car responsible, not the house that hosted the party.
"School is ending in a couple weeks. For a lot of the kids, this is kind of their last hurrah. I don't want to see anyone get kicked out of school for this, except for the kids who flipped my car."
The car owner took his automobile to a body shop to get fixed. He says the people responsible not only flipped his car, they also stole his wallet.
