Car Dealer In West Chester Only Offers One, Super Model

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) - Now open for business: a car dealer in West Chester with only one new model for sale -- a race-car inspired, head-turning supercar.
"Handles well, drives well, and you're getting good gas mileage," McLaren Philadelphia sales manager Chad Sierer says.
Sounds like a lot of rides, but a lot don't produce the satisfying growl of the McLaren MP4-12C.
"When you step on the accelerator, you can feel and hear the turbos spool up, and that's where you're getting your power."
Sierer says 592 horses rocket this mid-engine British two-seater from 0 to 62 in 3.2 seconds. So pardon the incredulity...
"The gas mileage of this vehicle is 22 miles to the gallon highway, 15 city. There is no gas guzzler tax on this car."
Thank the 12C's aluminum and composite shell, and the featherweight carbon fiber tub that serves as armor for driver and passenger within the butterfly doors.
The price? That's not so light.
"The car starts out at $231."
That's $231,000. But Sierer, of Porsche provenance, says this moving work of art is well worth it:
"The performance is just unparalleled. There's nothing that compares to this car."
