1 Dead, 1 Injured In Pa. Turnpike Crash In Bristol
BRISTOL, Pa., (CBS) – One person is dead and another is injured after a crash involving a truck and a car on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bristol Thursday afternoon.
The accident was reported shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Pennsylvania Turnpike westbound near Delaware Valley (#358).
A Pennsylvania Turnpike spokesperson says a truck went off the road and overturned into an embankment. The driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was injured and taken to St. Mary's Medical Center. The driver's condition is unknown at this time.
Drivers should expect delays in the area as police investigate.
