Last Thursday, a Boxer was found on the 1900 block of Morse Street in North Philadelphia (photo). The Adopt-A-Boxer Rescue came to his aid. He was near death, covered in maggots due to the severe wound caused by the chain rubbing his neck raw. He had suffered a leg injury and was emaciated. Due to the benefits of microchips, the original breeder was found and stated that he was just one point away from championship of his breed at one point in his life. He is currently recovering in foster care.
The AABC is offering a $1000 reward to anyone with any information. Contact the Adopt-A-Boxer Rescue at 877-570-0360 or email info@adoptaboxerrescue.com.
