Can Eagles Find Their Way In Baltimore?
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles will look to snap their four-game losing streak on Sunday afternoon when they visit the Baltimore Ravens.
Philadelphia is 5-8 on the season after losing at home last week to Washington, 27-22. The Birds are technically not yet eliminated from the playoffs, but the things that have to happen to make the postseason possible are too numerous to mention.
Baltimore is 7-6 on the season and a game out of first in the AFC North. Baltimore is coming off a 30-23 loss to the Patriots in Foxboro on Monday night. The Ravens are led by quarterback Joe Flacco, an Audubon HS and University of Delaware product, who has passed for 3,582 yards and 17 touchdowns this season with 12 interceptions.
The Eagles will not have the services of RB Darren Sproles (concussion) and T Halapoulivaati Vaitai (knee) on Sunday. Five players have officially listed as questionable - G Allen Barbre (hamstring), TE Brent Celek (stinger), WR Dorial Green-Beckham (abdomen), LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (illness) and WR Jordan Matthews (ankle).
The Eagles and Ravens have met four times over the years in regular season action. The Eagles are 2-1-1 in those games. The last meeting came on September 16th, 2012 at the Linc, the Eagles pulling out a 24-23 win.
