South Jersey Girl Pursuing Eagle Scout Creates Touching 9/11 Memorial In Woodbury Heights
WOODBURY HEIGHTS, N.J. (CBS) -- A local girl, pursuing the rank of Eagle Scout, has created a touching memorial. Eyewitness News was in Woodbury Heights, Gloucester County, on Saturday for the ribbon cutting of a pavilion.
The pavilion was built by Caitlin Wallis.
It's dedicated to the first responders who perished while trying to save others on 9/11.
Caitlin could soon become one of a small number of young women who can call themselves Eagle Scouts.
It has only been two years since girls have been allowed to join.
