Burglary Suspects Break Into Home And Pepper Spray Dog
MAR VISTA, C.A., (CBS) -- According to CBS Los Angeles, two suspects recently broke into a home in Mar Vista and peppered spray a 3-year-old dog named Snoop.
The incident was caught on tape. The report says that according to police, the suspects used "kissing," noises to subdue the dog who was barking. Then, off camera, they used pepper spray on the dog.
Authorities say the suspects got away with jewelry and a handgun, but that Snoop continued to bark throughout the ordeal. His owner returned ten minutes after the suspects left the home.
"He was rubbing his eyes and scratching it," the homeowner told CBS Los Angeles. "They can take anything they want, but if they hurt my dog, that's the worst fear."
Veterinarians reportedly said that Snoop's eyes will heal despite suffering some corneal damage.
Reportedly, the incident was just one of a rash of recent break-ins in the area.
