BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Bucks County are investigating the cause of a one-alarm fire that injured a homeowner and a firefighter Friday afternoon.

Firefighters arrived at the scene in the 5100 block of Hunters Court in Bensalem at about 1 p.m. to find heavy fire coming from the basement of the two-story home.

The homeowner was rescued from the dwelling, but was taken to a nearby hospital after sustaining unknown injuries. The firefighter reportedly sustained non life-threatening injuries, receiving minor burns to his hands and face and was treated by paramedics.

Authorities continue to investigate a possible cause to the blaze.
